About The Role

As an Analytics Officer, you will be responsible for supporting the operations of the Collections Department by generating the required reports providing related analysis regarding collections processes and trends. The purpose of this role is to ensure all the collections teams data gathering, reporting, and analysis needs are met to enhance the decision-making process.

How you'll contribute

  • Gather and consolidate large collections of data from dialer and collections systems to be made available for reporting needs
  • Maintain the developed standard set of performance reports to evaluate all collections processes (operative reports, productivity reports, efficiency reports, etc.), and portfolio changes (cure rate trends, recovery rate trends, cost-efficiency trends, etc.) and ensure they are delivered to the responsible parties within an acceptable timeframe
  • Provide regular reporting on communication tool efficiency to directly support the Strategist
  • Track and analyze collections teams performance in relation to KPIs, to be able to provide suggestions to Team Leaders and Team Managers
  • Identify and track potential issues with performance quality and areas of concern and provide detailed analysis of all findings to the Analytics Team Leader
  • Recommend changes regarding departmental efficiencies (i.e. organization of workflow and processing activities) with data evidence, to maximize departmental productivity
  • Forecast, track and measure key business metrics including cure rates, recovery rates, flow rates, and cost-efficiency rates to support new initiative development and overall portfolio strategy modifications
  • Monitor and reach the yearly and monthly KPIs (Timely report generation, Flow rate (all Buckets), Qualitative survey results (% our of maximum points), Number of complaints received from end users of reports)

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's Degree in any related field
  • With at least 3 years of relevant experience, with advanced knowledge on ETL concepts and automation, and programming tools/languages such as SAS, Python, SQL
  • Must have good analytics skills
  • Competitive and fast learner, and has the ability to adapt to changes
