Working as an Analytics Developer in an established Analytics team, your time will be focused on project work, with occasional involvement in DBA tasks as required.
You will seek to continuously improve performance and reliability of the analytics and integration platforms.
You will work closely with others in the team, including DBAs, Developers, Testers, Business Analysts, and Project Managers.
Job Requirements
10+ years of experience in IT project teams delivering BI solutions / Data Integrations.
Experience with Microsoft SQL BI tools (SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, SSAS, MDS).
A strong technical capability in BI Development and Design.
Experience administering SQL Server Databases (Performance Tuning, Backup / Recovery, applying Security to meet standards, managing live Production SQL Server - understand blockers, performance, familiar with sp_whoisactive)
Ability to understand business problems and to design quality BI Solutions / Data Integrations.
Strong governance mindset; happy to contribute to documentation, and work with version and change control systems.
Familiarity with the software development lifecycle.
Experience using Git and version controlling code and SSIS packages
