Performs chemical tests and analyses on samples submitted to the laboratory using available analytical instruments. Ensures that equipment operates under optimal conditions during testing and analysis.
Performs test method development and validation.
Verifies the accuracy of test results before issuing test reports and certificate of analysis to customers.
Implements quality assurance programs and maintains good housekeeping practices in the daily operations of the laboratory.
Participates in the review and updating of the laboratory's quality system, including the review of standard test methods, sampling procedures, calibration, and the preventive maintenance plan of analytical equipment.
Qualifications
Education: Graduate of B.S. in Chemistry and must be a licensed chemist.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of laboratory work, preferably on testing and chemical analysis.
Knowledge: Background in quality assurance, analytical instrumentation techniques, and ISO 17025 compliance. Hands-on experience with MS, LC, GC, and thermal analyzers is a plus.
Skills: Effective in planning, process analysis, and oral and written communication
Willing for 5-days compressed workweek schedule
Amenable to work and report onsite in Calle Industria, Bagumbayan, Quezon City
