Major Duties & Responsibilities:

Manage New Product Qualifications

  • Lead day-to-day NPI and engineering qualification activities, including CP3/CP4 buy-offs. Coordinate with factories, test development, product engineering, and business units to ensure requirements are met, issues are resolved quickly, and products move smoothly toward release. Monitor readiness items (materials, documentation, checklists) and escalate risks when needed.

Support and Maintain NPI Systems and Tools

Work with users and IT to clarify requirements, check data and system logic, test new features, and support rollout across manufacturing sites. Ensure systems reflect the correct priorities, qualifications, and materials.

Coordinate Schedules and Cross-Functional Alignment

  • Consolidate qualification timelines, align schedules with engineering and manufacturing, and ensure all teams understand upcoming activities and dependencies. Facilitate regular updates, highlight risks or delays, and follow up on open actions to keep projects on track.

Monitor Cycle Time and Provide Clear Reporting

  • Track key metrics such as cycle time, 96-hour start compliance, qualification progress, and material readiness. Analyze delays or bottlenecks, identify trends, and provide teams with clear reports and recommendations to help improve efficiency and on-time execution.

Improve NPI Processes and Support Factory Execution

  • Participate in efforts to streamline NPI workflows, reduce delays, and improve coordination between engineering, planning, factories, and OSAT partners. Support the rollout of new procedures, provide feedback based on daily execution, and help ensure consistent adoption across sites.
