  • Product Development Support
  • Assist in the development of new insurance products and enhancements to existing products.
  • Conduct desktop research on market trends, customer needs, competitor offerings, and industry developments.
  • Support the preparation of product concepts, product summaries, business cases, presentations, and approval documents.
  • Assist in documenting product features, benefits, eligibility, exclusions, customer journeys, and operational processes.
  • Coordinate with Product Development Leads to ensure product documentation remains complete and up to date.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute ideas for new products and product improvements.
  • Project Coordination
  • Assist in planning, tracking, and monitoring product development projects from initiation through launch.
  • Maintain project plans, trackers, timelines, action logs, risk registers, and meeting minutes.
  • Follow up with internal stakeholders to ensure timely completion of assigned deliverables.
  • Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, document action items, and monitor project progress.
  • Escalate potential delays, issues, or risks to the Product Development Lead.
  • Support the coordination of multiple product initiatives simultaneously.
  • Cross-functional Coordination
  • Coordinate with Actuarial, Operations, Legal, Risk and Compliance, Finance, Technology, Marketing, Claims, Customer Experience, and other teams throughout the product development lifecycle.
  • Track pending approvals, dependencies, and outstanding actions across different departments.
  • Assist in consolidating feedback from stakeholders during product development and implementation.
  • Ensure documentation and communications are distributed to relevant stakeholders in a timely manner.
  • Product Governance and Documentation
  • Prepare and maintain product documentation, approval papers, implementation checklists, meeting materials, and governance records.
  • Support the coordination of internal product approval processes.
  • Assist in preparing documentation required for regulatory submissions and internal governance.
  • Maintain organised records of product specifications, policy documents, approvals, and implementation artifacts.
  • Ensure version control and document management standards are followed.
  • Product Implementation Support
  • Assist in translating approved product requirements into implementation documents.
  • Support the preparation and review of Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Product Requirement Documents (PRDs), process flows, and operational procedures.
  • Coordinate user acceptance testing schedules, test scenarios, issue logs, and business validation activities.
  • Monitor implementation progress and follow up on outstanding development and testing issues.
  • Assist with launch readiness activities, including operational readiness, training materials, and product communications.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Insurance, Management Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
  • Open to fresh graduates with strong academic performance and leadership experience.
  • Internship or project experience in financial services, insurance, consulting, banking, technology, product management, or project management is an advantage.
  • Strong interest in insurance, financial services, digital products, and product development. - Good analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong organisational and project coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams. - Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to prepare professional presentations, reports, meeting minutes, and business documentation.
  • Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira, Asana, Monday.com, Trello, or similar platforms is an advantage.
  • Basic understanding of business analysis, customer journey mapping, and process documentation is an advantage.
  • Customer-focused mindset with an interest in developing simple, meaningful, and accessible financial products.
  • Demonstrates initiative, ownership, curiosity, and a willingness to continuously learn.
