About the Role
We are looking for an Analyst Financial Planning and Analysis to join our Finance & Accounting team. This role is key to driving data-driven decision-making by analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and assisting in the development of budgets and forecasts. You will work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely financial insights that support strategic business goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze complex financial data and create detailed reports to guide decision-making.
- Develop, monitor, and update budgets and forecasts aligned with company objectives.
- Prepare and review profit & loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and validate financial information.
- Conduct variance analysis and provide actionable recommendations for improvement.
- Support tax compliance and corporate filings for both local and international requirements.
- Maintain financial control by monitoring budget requests and ensuring adherence to policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Management, or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in financial planning, analysis, or a related role (BPO/shared services experience is an advantage).
- Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Strong knowledge of financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
- Skilled in financial tools/software such as Power BI, SAP, or similar platforms.
- Experience in handling tax filings (corporate income tax, VAT/GST, withholding taxes).
- Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
Preferred Certifications (a plus, not required):
- Lean Six Sigma Yellow/Green Belt
- Certified Tax Technician (CTT) / Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA)
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
