REQ13767 Analyst, Financial Analysis & Planning (Open)
Position Summary
The Analyst, Financial Analysis & Planning is a key participant for analysis of company results in addition to building reports, budgets and forecast.
Primary Responsibilities
- Builds and prepares periodic financial reports for stakeholders and senior management.
- Participates in monthly reviews with responsible business units.
- Participates in monthly, quarterly, yearly forecasting and budgeting process.
- Provides analytical support to stakeholders.
- Understands core business drivers, financial interpretation of business changes, and company's operational and financial performance.
- Assists or performs operations evaluations to identify business challenges, efficiency level, productivity, etc.
- Understands competitors, market trend, broader economic changes, etc.
- Manages small to medium scope projects.
- Assists or performs ad hoc analysis as requested.
Qualifications
I. Experience
- Industry or relevant work experience is preferred
- Knowledge and experience in WorkDay is preferred
II. Education
- College degree in the fields of Hospitality Management, Finance/Accounting, Engineering, Statistics, Business Administration, Mathematics or similar
- Graduate degree from a major, accredited institution preferred
III. Skills / Competencies
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent verbal or written English communication skills
- Creative and innovative thinking, has good problem-solving skills
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power Point and other Microsoft Office programs
