The Analyst is responsible for analyzing business and technical requirements, translating them into detailed system designs and program specifications, and developing high-quality software solutions. The role ensures the delivery of reliable, efficient, and well-documented applications that meet business and operational requirements.
Responsibilities
- Analyze business and functional requirements and develop detailed technical designs, program specifications, database structures, and system documentation
- Design, develop, and maintain software applications by writing, testing, reviewing, and enhancing code in accordance with development standards
- Perform systems integration testing, unit testing, defect resolution, and root cause analysis to ensure application quality and stability
- Provide application support during testing, implementation, and production, including troubleshooting and issue resolution
- Collaborate with project teams, business users, and technology stakeholders to support system delivery, implementation, and continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience in application development, systems analysis, or a related software development role
- Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle, systems analysis and design, and application development methodologies
- Proficiency in Java development, SQL, system integration, and enterprise application development; experience with COBOL and CICS is an advantage
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and technical documentation skills with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment
