The AML Audit and Compliance Junior Auditor is tasked to assist the AMLA Manager and AML CO with the implementation of the NUSTAR's Money Laundering and Terrorism and Proliferation Financing Prevention Program (MTPP). His/her function shall include maintaining the NUSTAR's compliance programs to ensure conformity and adherence with all applicable laws and regulations relating to Anti-Money Laundering and the Prevention of Terrorism and Proliferation Financing.
Assists in the execution of AML audit, in accordance with the Company's AML Compliance Program and the policies and regulations implemented by AMLC and PAGCOR.
Examines the daily gaming transactions as to the amount, nature and purpose of transaction.
Report and review the daily and monthly reports and identify covered transactions and possible suspicious transactions relative to ML/TF/PF.
From the list of recordable and reportable transactions, identifies transactions that deemed suspicious.
Reviews the incidents, documents, and reports necessary in the evaluation and recommendations on suspicious transactions and submitted PSTRs by frontline personnel, and prepares necessary referrals to frontline Heads and/or managers.
Prepares Covered Transaction Reports and Suspicious Transaction Reports through the AMLC's Reporting Portal.
Conduct of additional customer verification, risk classification, on-going monitoring, and other compliance audit procedures, as defined in the MTPP.
Assists in the conduct of compliance Testing.
Assists in updating of the Institutional Risk Assessment.
Assists in updating the Company's AML Compliance Program (MTPP and/or other AML policies and procedures), in accordance with the policies and procedures implemented by AMLC and PAGCOR.
Maintains files, records and reports of recordable transactions and reportable transactions.
Performs other responsibilities and tasks may be assigned from time to time depending on business needs.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Minimum of 1 year experience in auditing, compliance, or risk management functions in other gaming or financial institutions.
Working knowledge of anti-money laundering (AML) and countering the finance of terrorism law and its implementing rules and regulations (IRR). Basic understanding of AML law and rules for Casinos is an advantage.
