While structured like an agency in terms of team specialization, they function as brand operators - with dedicated team members handling PPC, supply chain, customer service, catalog management, and brand operations across multiple accounts.

  • Pet products (treats, supplements, pet food)
  • B2B hospitality and vacation rental supplies

The team is Philippines-based, working local business hours with structured overlap with US leadership. The company fosters a culture of ownership, experimentation, and continuous improvement, including active exploration of AI tools and emerging technologies.

About The Role

The Amazon Operations Manager will serve as the strategic right hand to the Founder, taking full ownership of day-to-day management of established Amazon accounts.

This role is not purely executional. The team already has specialists in place - what's needed is a strategic operator who can oversee, direct, prioritize, and optimize cross-functional efforts while ensuring sustainable growth.

The goal is to remove the Founder from daily operational oversight so he can focus on launching new products and long-term expansion.

Responsibilities

Operational Leadership

  • Oversee PPC, Brand, Supply Chain, Customer Service, and Catalog functions across multiple Amazon accounts
  • Provide clear direction, prioritization, and accountability to team members
  • Ensure tasks are executed according to established frameworks and strategic goals
  • Identify operational gaps and implement scalable improvements

Strategic Account Management

  • Work within established strategic frameworks while proactively staying current on what's working in the Amazon space; responsibly test new approaches and continuously refine and improve existing frameworks
  • Monitor account health, performance metrics, and profitability
  • Oversee pricing, promotions, and expansion initiatives
  • Support and manage US and EU marketplace operations

Reporting & Executive Support

  • Prepare structured, data-driven performance reports
  • Translate analytics into clear insights and action plans
  • Prepare materials for leadership and partner/client reporting conversations

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Manage workflows via Slack, Asana, and Google Workspace
  • Align PPC efforts with supply chain and inventory planning
  • Ensure seamless collaboration across the team

Innovation & AI Adoption

  • Explore and test AI tools to improve operational efficiency
  • Stay current with Amazon ecosystem updates and emerging tools
  • Dedicate time to experimentation and process innovation

Competencies And Qualifications

Must-Have

  • 3+ years of experience in Amazon account management or Amazon operations
  • Strong understanding of PPC, listings, inventory management, and compliance
  • Experience managing multiple Amazon accounts simultaneously
  • Proven experience overseeing or directing cross-functional teams
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills
  • Experience working with Amazon reporting tools (e.g., Sellerboard, Helium 10, Data Dive, etc.)
  • Strong project management and prioritization skills
  • Comfortable working Philippine business hours with partial US overlap

Nice-to-Have

  • Experience managing EU Amazon marketplaces
  • Experience with companies running Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS)
  • Experience in supplements, pet products, or regulated categories
  • Background in an agency-style Amazon structure
  • Exposure to AI tools for marketing, reporting, or automation
  • Experience preparing client-facing reports or presentations
