Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Economics, or a related field
  • 2+ years of analytics experience in eCommerce, marketplace, retail, digital marketing, or Amazon-focused environments
  • Required hands-on experience with both Amazon Vendor Central and Amazon Seller Central, including sales, inventory, pricing, operational, and advertising performance analysis
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas, pivot tables, data modeling, reporting automation, and large dataset analysis
  • Strong proficiency in Power BI, Tableau, SQL, and other business intelligence tools for dashboard development, reporting, and actionable insights
  • Experience with Pacvue, Amazon Advertising Console, Amazon Brand Analytics, or similar ecommerce analytics platforms
  • Experience using AI-powered analytics, visualization, reporting, keyword optimization, advertising insights, and emerging tools such as DataRobot, Amazon SageMaker, and ChatGPT workflows
  • Relevant certifications in SQL, Power BI, Tableau, Python, analytics, or supply chain disciplines (CSCP/CPIM) are advantageous
  • Strong analytical, communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities, influence business decisions, and present data-driven recommendations
  • Strategic, results-oriented, and proactive, with a proven ability to identify opportunities, solve complex business problems, improve performance, drive business growth, and collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams
  • Adaptable and committed to continuous learning, innovation, process improvement, and knowledge sharing

Key Responsibilities

Data Collection & Analysis

  • Maintain a single source of truth for Amazon 1P and 3P data, enforce data standards across SKUs, ASINs, UPCs, and product hierarchies, and integrate data from platforms like Amazon Vendor Central, Amazon Seller Central, retail analytics tools, and internal ERP/BI systems
  • Build predictive models for sales, advertising, and inventory forecasting, perform root cause analysis, and provide actionable recommendations to improve performance

Reporting & Visualization

  • Develop automated dashboards, scorecards, and standardized reporting templates using Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, and Microsoft Excel
  • Translate complex data into clear, impactful insights for technical and non-technical stakeholders

Business Partnering & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Support Paid Media, Account Management, and Inventory teams through analysis of campaign efficiency, product/category performance, and inventory forecasting to identify growth opportunities and operational risks

Financial & Compliance Support

  • Audit advertising charges, shortage claims, and compliance deductions to reduce financial leakage
  • Partner with Finance on accruals, reconciliations, variance reporting, and item-level profitability analysis
  • Document processes for claims, reconciliations, and reporting to minimize recurring discrepancies

Innovation, Process Improvement & Team Support

  • Evaluate AI-driven analytics tools, improve reporting processes, and recommend system enhancements for greater efficiency and decision-making
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on data best practices, guiding team members on SQL, BI tools, and advanced Excel techniques

Key Performance Indicators

  • Ensure data accuracy, timely reporting, reliable forecasting, reduced financial risk, and strong stakeholder adoption of analytics tools and insights
