Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Amazon FBA Specialist / Inventory Management Specialist to manage and optimize our Amazon inventory operations. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate stock levels, coordinating shipments to Amazon fulfillment centers, preventing stockouts or overstock situations, and ensuring smooth FBA operations.
The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, understands Amazon Seller Central, and can proactively manage inventory planning to support sales growth.
Key Responsibilities
Inventory Management
- Monitor and manage inventory levels across Amazon FBA warehouses.
- Forecast inventory needs based on sales trends and seasonality.
- Prevent stockouts and excess inventory through proper planning.
- Track inbound shipments and ensure accurate receiving by Amazon.
FBA Operations
- Create and manage FBA shipments in Amazon Seller Central.
- Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, and warehouses for shipment preparation.
- Ensure shipments comply with Amazon FBA requirements (labeling, packaging, prep).
- Resolve issues related to lost, damaged, or missing inventory.
Inventory Analysis & Reporting
- Analyze inventory performance, sell-through rates, and stock aging.
- Generate inventory reports and provide insights for restocking decisions.
- Identify slow-moving or excess inventory and recommend actions.
Process Optimization
- Improve inventory management systems and workflows.
- Work with operations and purchasing teams to maintain optimal stock levels.
