Execute and implement AML compliance processes, including but not limited to AML watchlist updates (e.g. AMLC Watchlist, Patriot Watchlist), customer profiling, due diligence, and investigations when necessary, as well as related processing and reporting.
Conduct evaluation, investigation, and processing of suspicious transactions.
Prepare and submit AML regulatory reports, including Covered Transaction Reports (CTR) and Suspicious Transaction Reports (STR).
Provide functional support for compliance functions, including AML, regulatory compliance, and other HNCB compliance requirements.
Perform internal compliance self-evaluations.
Execute and implement compliance testing activities.
Track new laws, regulations, and regulatory issuances through relevant government and regulatory websites such as BSP, AMLC, SEC, BIR, DOF, and DOLE.
Draft, communicate, disseminate, and monitor actions required under the New Laws Action Sheet (NRAS).
Implement and monitor regulatory and governmental reporting using compliance calendars and checklists.
Assist in the preparation, filing, and monitoring of compliance, legal, and regulatory documents submitted to regulators, courts, and government agencies, and act as docket and records officer for such filings.
Act as records and property custodian of the department.
Prepare, consolidate, and monitor monthly status reports on pending matters, applications, and cases handled by both internal and external legal counsel.
Ensure that all functions and inter-departmental coordination comply with applicable laws, rules, and regulations.
Provide functional support for all compliance and AML-related training activities.
Perform other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
Qualifications (must Meet At Least One)
At least one (1) year of combined experience in compliance, risk management, internal audit, or internal control functions within the financial industry.
Educational background in Law, Business, Risk Management, Finance, or other related fields.
