Job Description
- Extracting bank statement and allocating incoming customer payments accurately to the
- corresponding invoices or accounts in the accounting system to ensure that payments
- are properly recorded and reflected.
- Review and verify payment details such as remittance advice, payment amounts, and
- customer information.
- Resolve discrepancies or unapplied payments by investigating and communicating with
- customers or internal teams.
- Maintain accurate records of all payment allocations and adjustments.
- Generate regular reports on payment allocation status and unapplied cash
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards during allocation
- and reconciliation.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities related to accounts receivable.
- Identify and suggest process improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency in
- payment allocation.
- Ad hoc projects as require
- Managing Dropbox on regular basis and distribution of e-mails to relevant team members
Competencies/ Personal Traits
- Can work under pressure and should always be reliable
- Advanced MS Excel skills (vlook up and Pivot)
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to prioritise, with excellent time management skills
- Willingness to go the extra mile and be a strong team player
