Job Description:
- Allocate linehaul trucks based on operational requirements, schedules, volume, and priority.
- Monitor truck availability, readiness, deployment, and utilization throughout the shift.
- Coordinate with Midmile Operations, SOC, Supply/Transport, Planners, and other stakeholders.
- Monitor MDT and proactively address potential truck shortages or deployment delays.
- Optimize truck utilization and support improvements in truck productivity and turnaround time.
- Maintain accurate and timely allocation trackers and operational records.
- Escalate operational risks, delays, shortages, and other critical issues promptly.
- Provide proper shift endorsement of pending requirements, risks, and ongoing actions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in the related field
- Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Good analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Able to make timely decisions in a fast-paced operational environment.
- Proficient in spreadsheets and operational tracking tools.
- Logistics or transportation operations experience is an advantage.
- Willing to work on shifting schedules, weekends, and holidays as required.
