The Travel Allied Healthcare Staffing Recruiter is responsible for full-cycle recruiting of allied healthcare professionals for nationwide travel assignments. This role manages candidate sourcing, screening, engagement, submission, and placement while operating across both MSP/VMS environments and direct (Non-MSP) client models. Success in this role requires strong market knowledge, candidate relationship management, speed-to-submit execution, and strict adherence to quality and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities
Full-Cycle Recruiting & Talent Acquisition
- Source, screen, recruit, and place travel allied healthcare professionals across multiple specialties and geographies.
- Leverage diverse recruiting channels including proprietary databases, referrals, redeployment pools, job boards, social media, and professional networks.
- Build and maintain a consistent pipeline aligned to forecasted demand and active requisitions.
Talent Sourcing & Candidate Identification
- Identify and evaluate diverse sourcing channels to attract highly specialized allied healthcare
professionals, including but not limited to:
o Cross Country proprietary databases and redeployment pools
o MSP platforms (e.g., VMS‑driven requisitions)
o Non‑MSP direct client pipelines
o Academic institutions and clinical training programs
o Healthcare facilities and professional networks
o Allied health professional associations and publications
o Internet research, social media, and job boards
Execute targeted sourcing strategies aligned to client demand, specialty requirements, and market conditions.
MSP & Non-MSP Delivery Execution
- Support high-volume MSP requisitions by delivering candidates that meet strict credentialing,
compliance, and submission timelines.
- Partner with recruiters and account teams on Non-MSP direct orders, enabling consultative and speed-to-market sourcing models.
- Ensure submissions meet client scorecard metrics including quality, timeliness, and completeness.
Candidate Engagement & Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with field staff to drive referrals, redeployment, and retention.
- Proactively prospect and engage new candidates using independent recruiting strategies and consultative outreach.
- Provide a high-touch, service-oriented experience to candidates throughout the recruitment lifecycle..
Recruiting Execution & Quality Delivery
- Screen, qualify, and present high-quality candidates who meet clinical, licensing, compliance, and client-specific requirements.
- Partner closely with recruiters, account managers, and compliance teams to ensure seamless candidate submissions and placements.
- Meet or exceed company and client expectations related to candidate quality, speed-to-submit, and fill ratios.
Screening, Quality & Compliance Alignment
- Conduct detailed candidate screenings to evaluate:
o Clinical specialty alignment o Licensure and state eligibility
o Travel experience and flexibility
o Start-date readiness and compliance status
- Partner with compliance, credentialing, onboarding, and operations teams to ensure submission-ready and start-ready candidates.
Performance, Productivity & Business Impact
- Meet or exceed sourcing KPIs related to:
o Submissions
o Fill contribution
o Redeployment and referral generation
o Time-to-submit metrics (especially for MSP delivery
- Contribute directly to revenue growth and margin optimization through efficient sourcing and improved candidate conversion.
