Airport Livelihood Development Specialist
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced specialist to design and implement livelihood programs that support communities affected by airport operations, creating sustainable economic opportunities through strategic planning and community engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage livelihood development initiatives aligned with airport operations and community needs
- Conduct community needs assessments and facilitate stakeholder engagement
- Oversee program implementation, including skills training and enterprise development
- Monitor program outcomes and adjust strategies based on results
- Coordinate with government agencies, NGOs, and community partners
- Prepare progress reports and manage program budgets
Required Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree (minimum)
- Postgraduate degree (Master's or higher) in Economics, Social Sciences, Rural/Urban Planning, or related field
Experience
- Minimum 5 years in livelihood or community development
- Minimum 3 years in airport-related community programs or infrastructure-linked livelihood initiatives
- Proven success designing and implementing sustainable livelihood programs
Preferred Skills
- Project management and organizational abilities
- Strong communication and data analysis skills
- Experience with participatory development methodologies
- Knowledge of community development policies
- Proficiency in MS Office and data management tools
