About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer with solid experience in airport infrastructure design and construction. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering electrical engineering solutions for airport facilities, ensuring compliance with international standards, safety requirements, and project objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and prepare electrical designs, plans, and detailed engineering documentation for airport-related facilities (e.g., terminals, runways, airfield lighting systems, substations, navigational aids).
  • Oversee and supervise construction activities to ensure alignment with approved designs, specifications, and safety standards.
  • Develop, review, and evaluate technical specifications, cost estimates, bills of quantities (BOQ), and tender documents.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including architects, civil, mechanical, and airport systems engineers.
  • Perform technical assessments, site inspections, and quality control checks during project implementation.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable codes, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support project managers in monitoring progress, resolving technical issues, and ensuring timely project delivery.
  • Provide engineering recommendations to enhance operational reliability and electrical system efficiency within airport facilities.
  • Prepare engineering reports, feasibility studies, and design justification documents.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Licensed Electrical Engineer (REE) or equivalent professional certification.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in electrical design and construction supervision.
  • Demonstrated experience in the engineering of airport-related facilities and systems.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical codes, safety standards, and industry best practices.
  • Proficiency in engineering design software (e.g., AutoCAD, ETAP, Revit, or equivalent).
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and technical documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Holder of a post-graduate degree (e.g., Master's in Electrical Engineering, Aviation Engineering, or related field).

5 to 12 years of combined experience in design and construction supervision of airport facilities.

✅ Strong background in specification preparation, cost estimate development, and technical evaluation.

✅ Prior experience working with international aviation standards (ICAO, FAA, NFPA, etc.) is an advantage.

✅ Experience in large-scale infrastructure or aviation engineering consultancy projects.
