What if an internship in Talent Acquisition was less about processing applications — and more about designing how people and technology work together to hire better

As our NCS AI Talent Acquisition Intern, you will work at the intersection of Artificial Intelligence, HR Technology, data and human-centred Talent Acquisition.

You will support in connecting and integrating our HRIS, Applicant Tracking System (ATS), AI-enabled recruitment tools and human workflows to create a simpler, smarter and more intuitive hiring experience.

This is a hands-on opportunity to understand how technology is transforming Talent Acquisition, from workflow automation and systems integration to AI-enabled screening, analytics and candidate experience.

What will you do

HR Technology & Systems Integration

Work alongside Talent Acquisition, HR Technology and business teams to understand how our recruitment technology ecosystem works. You will support projects involving our HRIS, ATS and other recruitment technologies, helping us identify how systems, data and workflows can connect more effectively.

AI & Recruitment Automation

Explore how AI and automation can improve the way we attract, identify and engage talent.

You will have opportunities to experiment with emerging technologies and support initiatives involving areas s such as:

• Generative AI applications for recruiters and hiring managers
• Agentic AI and emerging TA technology use cases

Importantly, you will also help us think about where human judgement and interaction remain essential within an increasingly technology-enabled hiring process.

Human-Centred Workflow Design

Technology works best when it makes work simpler for people. You will help us review Talent Acquisition processes from the perspective of candidates, recruiters and hiring managers, identifying opportunities to remove unnecessary steps and create more intuitive experiences.

Talent Acquisition Innovation Projects

You will work on selected projects that are shaping the future of Talent Acquisition at NCS.

Depending on business priorities, these may include technology pilots, process redesign, AI experimentation, candidate experience initiatives, recruitment analytics or digital transformation projects.

A Little About You

You are currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Technology, Data Science & Analytics, Human Resources, Business or a related discipline.

More importantly, you must be curious about how technology can solve real human and business problems. You may enjoy experimenting with AI tools, building simple automations, analysing data, improving processes or figuring out how different systems connect. Comfortable asking questions such as:

Why do we do it this way

Can this be automated

Can these systems talk to each other

How can we make this experience simpler for the user

You will likely thrive in this internship if you:

• Have a strong interest in AI, HR Technology, automation or digital transformation
• Can translate complex problems into clear process flows
• Are comfortable engaging different stakeholders and gathering requirements
• Are organised and detail-oriented
