# AI Solutions Lead — Maria Health
*Location:* Remote (Philippines) · Hybrid if based in Metro Manila
## What you'll do
As AI Solutions Lead at Maria Health, you'll be embedded across two of our core business units — *Business Development and Account Management* — working shoulder-to-shoulder with the operators who run them. You'll build alongside the team, and you will help them fundamentally change how they operate. Your measure of success is the number of workflows you've permanently transformed and the extent to which every BD rep and account manager starts their day by reaching for an AI tool first.
This is not a research role. This is not a centre of excellence role. You will be in the trenches with the people closing deals and renewing clients — turning the messy reality of HMO brokerage into automated, AI-native workflows.
## Responsibilities
• Identify and document the highest-leverage workflow transformations across BD and Account Management — from prospecting, quote generation, and proposal building, to renewals, endorsement processing, masterlist reconciliation, and client servicing
• Build custom tools, agents, automations, and skills tailored to each team member's specific responsibilities — whether that's an AM managing 15 client renewals or a BD rep running outbound dials and following up on a pipeline of warm prospects
• Coach and partner with each team member through a progressive journey: from awareness, to first win, to regular AI integration, to full workflow transformation, to self-sufficiency
• Teach the team to build and iterate on their own tools over time, creating independence rather than dependency on you
• Recognize patterns across both BUs and systematically scale what works — a tool built for one account manager should become reusable for the entire AM team, and ideally generalize to BD where applicable
• Document every tool, playbook, prompt library, and transformation pattern you build so the entire Maria Health team — and future hires — can compound on each other's work
• Share wins visibly across the company and with leadership to build momentum, inspire adoption, and celebrate the team members who are leaning in
## Who you'll work with
You'll report directly to the CEO and partner closely with the BU leads for Business Development and Account Management. You'll have a direct line to the operators doing the work and the authority to ship tools quickly.
## What we're looking for
• Builder-operator mindset — you ship working tools, not slide decks about tools
• Comfort with the modern AI tooling stack (Claude, ChatGPT, agentic frameworks, MCP, automation platforms like n8n/Zapier, light coding in Python or JavaScript)
• Strong product instincts — you can sit with a BD rep or AM for an hour and walk away knowing exactly which 3 workflows to automate first
• Coaching ability — you make people around you better, not more dependent on you
• Bias toward deterministic-first workflows with AI at the edges where it adds the most leverage
• Bonus: experience in insurance, healthcare, financial services, or any regulated B2B environment
