We are expanding our AI team and seeking an experienced, highly capable AI/ML Engineer & Architect to lead mission-critical AI initiatives across our platform ecosystem.


Role Overview

The AI/ML Engineer & Architect will be responsible for architecting, developing, and deploying secure, high-performance AI systems across eSkilled's SMS and LMS. This includes building AI-over-data layers, document-aware AI pipelines, AI grading engines, and self-hosted model infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build secure multi-tenant AI-over-data systems allowing clients to query their own SMS/LMS data via natural language.
  • Architect and implement document-aware AI (RAG) systems for client-uploaded documents.
  • Develop AI grading engines for quizzes, essays, practical assessments, and projects.
  • Deploy and fine-tune self-hosted LLMs (Llama, Mistral, Qwen, etc.).
  • Create model reasoning, explainability, and assessor-review workflows.
  • Develop datasets, run fine-tuning pipelines, calibrate models, and establish evaluation frameworks.
  • Collaborate with engineering, product, and compliance teams for successful delivery of AI features.



Requirements

Required Experience

  • 37 years in AI/ML engineering or ML architecture.
  • Experience with self-hosted LLMs and fine-tuning (LoRA, QLoRA, full finetuning).
  • Strong Python skills and hands-on experience with LangChain or LlamaIndex.
  • Experience building RAG systems and vector search (Elastic, FAISS, Pinecone, Qdrant).
  • Understanding of multi-tenant SaaS data isolation and secure AI architecture.
  • Experience with Docker/Kubernetes and cloud GPU environments.
  • Bonus: familiarity with EdTech, VET/CRICOS/ELICOS, OCR pipelines, SQL & NoSQL.
