AI Governance Assistant Manager | GSC (client-based)

Key responsibilities

Client delivery and engagement management

• Lead or manage day-to-day delivery of AI governance maturity assessments, MAS AIRG readiness reviews and related governance uplift engagements.

• Plan workstreams, coordinate interviews and workshops, manage evidence requests, maintain delivery plans and monitor milestones, dependencies and risks.

• Develop clear, client-ready findings, recommendations, implementation roadmaps and executive materials.

• Act as the primary working-level contact for client stakeholders and escalate significant delivery or quality matters to the engagement leader.

AI governance and AI risk management

• Assess governance frameworks, operating models, policies, standards, roles, forums and controls across the AI lifecycle.

• Support the design and operationalisation of AI Risk Management target operating models, including accountabilities, approval gates, artefacts, control requirements and reporting arrangements.

• Translate regulatory expectations and recognised frameworks into practical, risk-based requirements appropriate to the client context.

• Development AI inventories, risk-tiering approaches, third-party AI governance and lifecycle control frameworks.

Agentic AI and runtime governance

• Support reviews of Agentic AI use cases, risk scenarios and governance requirements.

• Assist with design and implementation of runtime safeguards, monitoring, escalation and human oversight arrangements.

• Work with cyber, technology and vendor specialists to integrate technical controls into the wider governance model.

Experience

• 6-8 years of experience in governance, risk, controls, technology risk, cyber risk, data governance, operational risk or model risk., with evidence of independently managing workstreams or smaller consulting engagements.

• Experience supervising junior or geographically distributed team members is preferred.
