AI-First Fullstack Engineer (.NET)

Be part of a team of an AI-first Full-Stack Engineers who leverages AI coding agents to deliver production-ready software, combining strong engineering judgment, solution architecture, clear specifications, and rigorous code review to ensure quality and reliability.

Responsibilities

You are a full-stack engineer who builds AI-first. You direct AI coding agents to produce production-grade software, and you bring the engineering judgement that makes that output safe to ship: framing the problem, writing clear specifications, architecting the solution, and rigorously reviewing and verifying what the agent produces.

The value you add is no longer measured in lines typed. It is in the quality of the problem you frame, the clarity of the spec you hand the agent, and the sharpness of your review before anything reaches production. You move fast because the agent does the heavy lifting, and nothing ships that you would not personally stand behind. It is a high-trust, high-visibility role for people who want to shape how regulated financial-services organisation builds software with AI agents at the centre.

What you'll do

• Build and ship full-stack features end to end, backend, web and native mobile, across our products.

• Use AI coding agents (e.g. GitHub Copilot) as your primary way of working: orchestrate, prompt, review, refine, verify.

• Write clear, agent-readable specifications and contracts that both AI and humans can execute against.

• Own quality end to end: automated tests as part of CI/CD, Playwright end-to-end tests, and disciplined review of AI-generated code.

• Help define and continuously improve our AI-first ways of working, then share and evangelise them across the wider product organisation.

• Work to the security, compliance and reliability standards expected in a regulated financial environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

Must Have:

• Hands-on full-stack engineer (backend + frontend)

• Uses AI coding agents as their main tool, to create real production grade work

• .NET / C# backend with React and/or Angular frontend

• Test automation in CI/CD, including Playwright (or equivalent) E2E

• Strong code-review and verification skills

• Experience building and delivering MCP (Model Context Protocol)

• Strong backend skills across API design with OpenAPI (OAS)

• Strong understanding of Git, CI/CD, system design, and software architecture principles

It's a Plus if you have:

• Native iOS or Native Android app development (Bonus: native iOS (Swift) or Android (Kotlin) depth)

• Track record of defining team conventions, prompt libraries or agent workflows that others adopted

• Cloud experience, ideally GCP or AWS

• Experience in regulated, financial or otherwise high-assurance environments

• Experience building savings or investment applications, and ideally digital advice/advisory solutions (e.g. guided investing, robo-advice, portfolio or fund-based products)
