Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced AI Engineer to help build the next generation of intelligent applications, AI-powered workflows, and production-ready machine learning solutions.
At JWay, AI Engineers are expected to combine strong machine learning expertise with modern AI engineering practices. You'll leverage tools such as
Claude Code, Codex, Anti-gravity, and Zed to accelerate software development, automate engineering workflows, and build scalable AI-powered applications. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, deploy, and continuously improve AI solutions that create measurable business impact.
Key Responsibilities
AI Engineering & Machine Learning
- Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models for production environments.
- Build AI-powered applications using modern software engineering best practices.
- Develop and optimize NLP, computer vision, predictive analytics, or Generative AI solutions.
- Continuously evaluate and improve model performance, scalability, and reliability.
AI Tool Mastery
- Utilize Claude Code, Codex, Anti-gravity, Zed, and other AI engineering tools to improve software development productivity.
- Leverage AI-assisted coding, debugging, testing, documentation, and code review workflows.
- Evaluate emerging AI development tools and recommend best practices for engineering teams.
- Build reusable AI development workflows that improve engineering efficiency.
Automated Workflows
- Build AI agents and intelligent automation workflows to streamline engineering and business processes.
- Integrate AI models into production systems using APIs and cloud platforms.
- Design scalable workflows that combine AI services, automation platforms, and enterprise applications.
- Collaborate with software engineers to embed AI capabilities into existing products.
Cybersecurity
- Develop AI solutions that follow secure coding, privacy, and responsible AI principles.
- Protect sensitive data throughout the AI development lifecycle.
- Identify security risks associated with AI implementations and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Follow best practices for secure deployment and governance of AI systems.
Experience Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field
- 3–5 years of experience in AI, Machine Learning, or Data Science
- Proven experience developing and deploying machine learning models into production
- Experience building end-to-end AI applications from concept through deployment
- Strong experience collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams
Technical Skills
AI Essentials
- Strong knowledge of Machine Learning, Deep Learning, NLP, Generative AI, and statistical modeling.
- Proficiency in Python or R.
- Experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, or similar machine learning frameworks.
AI Tool Mastery
- Experience using Claude Code, Codex, Anti-gravity, Zed, or comparable AI-assisted software development tools.
- Familiarity with AI-powered code generation, debugging, refactoring, and documentation workflows.
- Experience integrating AI coding assistants into modern software development practices.
Automated Workflows
- Experience building AI agents and workflow automation solutions.
- Knowledge of API integrations, cloud AI services, and orchestration frameworks.
- Experience deploying AI applications on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Cybersecurity (Nice to Have)
- Understanding of secure software development, data privacy, and AI governance.
- Knowledge of authentication, authorization, and secure API development.
- Familiarity with responsible AI and enterprise security best practices.
