The AI & Data Specialist is a hands-on execution role responsible for using AI tools, analytics platforms, and data systems to rapidly generate insights, reports, presentations, and business intelligence outputs.

The role is focused on:

Answering complex business questions using data + AI

Producing instant analysis and reports

Supporting decision-making with facts and insights

Creating presentations, dashboards, and materials on demand

Conducting market, competitor, and industry analysis

This role is a real-time intelligence and analytics operator for the group.

Core Responsibilities

1. AI-Powered Business Intelligence

Use AI tools to answer ad-hoc business questions

Perform rapid market, competitor, and industry analysis

Generate insights from structured and unstructured data

Support leadership with data-backed answers (fast turnaround)

2. Market & Competitive Analysis

Conduct competitor benchmarking and tracking

Analyze market trends, pricing, and positioning

Gather and synthesize public and internal data

Provide clear summaries for decision-making

3. Data Analysis & Reporting

Analyze internal business data (sales, finance, operations, etc.)

Build quick reports and summaries from datasets

Identify patterns, anomalies, and performance drivers

Convert raw data into actionable insights

4. Business Intelligence (BI) Outputs

Create dashboards and performance summaries

Build KPI tracking reports across OpCos

Support monthly and weekly reporting cycles

Ensure leadership always has updated visibility

5. Presentation & Material Generation

Create executive presentations using AI tools

Build pitch decks, investor updates, and reports quickly

Convert analysis into clean, structured slides

Support CFO, CEO, and PMO with materials on demand

6. On-Demand Strategic Support

Respond quickly to unknown unknown business questions

Provide scenario analysis and what if breakdowns

Support investment evaluation with data-backed inputs

Assist in feasibility studies and business cases

7. Data Gathering & Integration

Collect data from internal systems and external sources

Clean, organize, and structure datasets

Use AI tools to process large or messy data sets

Maintain usable knowledge base for the group

ChatGPT / LLM tools for analysis and summarization

Excel / Google Sheets (advanced)

BI tools (Power BI / Tableau / Looker Studio)

Basic SQL (preferred but not mandatory)

Data scraping / research tools

Presentation Tools

PowerPoint / Google Slides

AI presentation tools (e.g., Gamma, Canva AI, etc.)

Core Skills

Strong analytical thinking

Fast synthesis of complex information

Ability to turn data into insights quickly

Comfortable with ambiguity (figure it out fast mindset)

Strong communication and clarity in outputs
