AI Automation Technical Architect

Role Overview

The Automation Technical Architect designs secure, scalable, and build-ready automation solutions using RPA and Agentic AI. The role translates business process requirements into detailed technical architecture that engineering teams can implement without major redesign.

Key Responsibilities

• Convert business process maps into technical solution designs and architecture diagrams.
• Assess client systems, infrastructure, APIs, data, and existing automation tools.
• Design RPA, AI-agent, API, data, and orchestration workflows.
• Define system integrations, data flows, security controls, monitoring, and deployment environments.
• Identify when to use rules-based RPA, AI-driven automation, or a combination of both.
• Ensure solutions meet scalability, security, privacy, compliance, and data residency requirements.
• Lead architecture workshops and walkthroughs with business, engineering, IT, and security teams.
• Support engineering during implementation and ensure the final solution follows the approved architecture.
• Provide technical guidance and mentor engineering teams on architecture best practices.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in solution architecture, enterprise systems, intelligent automation, or related fields.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience designing enterprise RPA solutions using platforms such as UiPath, Automation Anywhere, or Blue Prism.
• Experience integrating AI/LLM technologies into automation workflows.
• Strong knowledge of APIs, system integration, cloud infrastructure, data flows, and enterprise architecture.
• Familiarity with Agentic AI, LLMs, RAG, OCR, NLP, human-in-the-loop workflows, and AI guardrails.
• Experience designing secure solutions involving data privacy, access controls, encryption, logging, and compliance.
• Strong communication, facilitation, documentation, and technical presentation skills.
