About the Role
We are looking for a resourceful and product-minded AI App & UI Developer to design and build internal tools that power our eCommerce and marketing operations. This role sits at the intersection of AI development and practical business tooling — you will translate real operational needs into functional, well-designed applications that our team uses every day.
You will work closely with the Advertising Manager and other stakeholders to scope, build, and iterate on tools that surface data, automate repetitive workflows, and bring AI capabilities directly into our internal processes. Responsibilities
AI Tool Development
- Design and build internal AI-powered applications using LLM APIs (e.g., Claude, OpenAI) tailored to specific business workflows
- Develop tools that assist with tasks such as report summarization, data interpretation, content drafting, and operational Q&A
- Integrate AI capabilities into existing workflows in a practical, low-friction way
- Maintain and iterate on deployed tools based on team feedback and evolving needs
- Explore and evaluate emerging AI models, APIs, and frameworks to keep our tooling current
Dashboard & UI Development
- Design and build internal dashboards and interfaces that surface data in a clear, actionable format for non-technical users
- Translate business requirements into intuitive UI layouts that make complex information easy to understand and act on
- Build and maintain reporting interfaces that reduce manual data work across departments
- Iterate on dashboard designs based on user feedback and evolving operational needs
Internal Tooling & Workflow Automation
- Identify repetitive or manual processes across the organization and build lightweight tools to streamline them
- Build and maintain integrations between internal systems and third-party platforms via REST APIs
- Create internal utilities that support operational workflows across departments
- Document tools clearly so team members can use and troubleshoot them independently
Collaboration & Iteration
- Work directly with the IT Specialist and internal stakeholders to define requirements and prioritize the build roadmap
- Gather feedback from internal users and ship improvements quickly
- Communicate clearly about timelines, technical constraints, and tradeoffs
- Proactively suggest tools or automations that could improve team efficiency
Competencies and Qualifications
Must-have
- Strong experience building dashboards and data visualization tools
- Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript with React
- Experience integrating LLM APIs (OpenAI, Claude, or similar)
- Familiarity with MCP servers for connecting AI models to external tools and data
- Strong experience working with REST APIs and JSON-based integrations
- Experience deploying production AI applications
- Familiarity with Snowflake or other cloud data warehouse platforms
- 1–3+ years of full-stack development experience
Nice to Have
- Direct experience with Notion AI and Notion API integrations
- Python backend development experience
- SQL proficiency
- Experience designing workflow automation systems
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
