AI Adversarial Testing Specialist - Remote

HireArt is helping our client find an AI Red Teaming Specialist to serve as the subject matter expert for a new team critical to an AI safety initiative. This is a short-term, high-impact contract role focused on building out red teaming processes, delivering QA and coaching, and helping establish a strong foundation for growth.

This role is ideal for experienced red teamers who are fluent in English, excellent collaborators, and genuinely excited to support and coach others. While coaching experience isn't required, the right attitude is: you're team-oriented, willing to jump in where needed, and able to deliver feedback with both clarity and humility.

The pay rate for this role is $10.50 - $17.50 USD/hr.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and execute red teaming strategies to test the safety and reliability of AI models
• Provide structured QA and feedback on model responses and red teaming outputs
• Help develop training materials and onboarding processes for future red teamers
• Coach and support less experienced team members through constructive feedback and collaborative problem-solving
• Work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to improve tools, workflows, and documentation
• Report findings clearly and contribute to the continuous improvement of red teaming operations

Requirements:

• Proven experience in AI red teaming/adversarial testing and prompt engineering
• Fluent English communication skills (spoken and written, C1 or C2 preferred)
• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
• Collaborative mindset with a willingness to help others grow
• Availability for at least 2025 hours per week over 13 months
• Flexibility to overlap with Philippines business hours (at least 3 hours, a few days per week during the initial ramp-up)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in AI QA and familiarity with QA documentation tools like Google Sheets, Excel, or Jira
• Experience coaching, training, or leading a team, ideally a team of AI trainers
• Experience process-building within AI operations
• Experience working with AI platforms such as OpenAI, Google Gemini, Anthropic, etc.

Commitment: This is a full-time, 3-month independent contractor position staffed via HireArt. It is remote and available to candidates who are able to at least partially overlap their hours with business hours in the Philippines (if not based in the Philippines).
