Job Description

Responsibilities

Promote and sell agricultural products such as seeds, fertilizers, pesticides, and farm equipment to farmers, cooperatives, and agricultural dealers.
Conduct farm visits to demonstrate product application, usage, and benefits.
Provide technical advice and recommendations based on crop type, soil condition, and pest management needs.
Build and maintain strong relationships with farmers, distributors, and key accounts.
Identify potential customers and develop new business opportunities in assigned territories.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback.
Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and territory updates.
Assist in organizing product demonstrations, field days, and agricultural seminars.
Ensure achievement of sales targets and collection of customer payments.
Coordinate with the technical and marketing teams to address customer concerns and support promotional activities.

Job Requirements

Bachelors degree in Agriculture, Agricultural Engineering, Agronomy, or any related field.
Preferably a licensed Agriculturist.
With experience in agricultural sales, technical support, or farm operations is an advantage.
Knowledge of crop production, fertilizers, pesticides, and other agricultural inputs.
Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Willing to conduct fieldwork and travel extensively within the assigned territory.
Must possess a valid drivers license and preferably knows how to drive a motorcycle or four-wheel vehicle.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Results-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
Good interpersonal skills and ability to build strong relationships with farmers, dealers, and distributors.
