About the Role

As an Agentic Engineer, you are a supercharged developer who operates at the leading edge of systems architecture and agentic coding. In this role, you orchestrate and manage teams of coding agents that build software. You are responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of reliable software systems, APIs, and complex integrations, leveraging agentic engineering practices to build software.

You will act as a manager of AI assistants, shifting your focus from manual line-by-line coding to high-level direction, goal-setting, and rigorous validation. Beyond building, you are a strategic researcher and a mentor, staying ahead of the AI curve to ensure our engineering practice remains world-class. You will lead the organizational shift from writing code to directing agents, coaching both software and non-software engineers on how to leverage this new paradigm to achieve unprecedented levels of productivity and quality.

Job Responsibilities

• Architect, build and maintain reliable and quality software systems, APIs, integrations, MCP servers and other software needed by the organization using agentic engineering practices where you orchestrate and manage multiple coding agents to produce high quality software solutions
• Continuously improve the agentic engineering stack of the company by researching and testing new tools and technologies as they become available to stay ahead of
• the curve to maintain the highest levels of efficiency and effectiveness of the agentic engineering practice of the organization
• Act as the ultimate validator of agentic output, implementing automated testing harnesses and human-in-the-loop (HITL) checkpoints to ensure the code that is produced is secure, high-quality and production-grade
• Lead the internal shift from writing code to directing agents advocating for agentic engineering patterns and best practices.
• Conduct workshops and 1-on-1 coaching for software engineers and non-software engineers on how to effectively use agentic tools (e.g., Claude Code, Kilo Code, Open Code, etc.) and agent orchestration frameworks.
• Create and maintain internal benchmarks to evaluate agent performance, identifying where agents excel and where human intervention is critical.

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 6+ years of experience in enterprise Software Engineering (fullstack)
• Extensive experience in Scrum or Agile methodologies and practices.
• Strong knowledge and experience applying software design principles
• Experience in NextJS, NestJS, TypeScript and the latest libraries and packages (Zod, Prisma, Tailwind, Shadcn, TanStack Query, Zustand, Vitest, etc.)
• Strong problem-solving skills
• High attention to detail with a rigorous approach to code quality, ensuring that while coding agents generate the code, the final output meets the highest architectural and quality standards
• Must have excellent communication skills.
• Highly efficient and productive with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Nice To Have

• Knowledge of cloud-native infrastructure (GCP), containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform)
