Job Description

This is a remote position.

The Advertising Auditor (PPC) is responsible for meticulously implementing MAG's best practices for PPC growth on assigned client accounts within the Advertising department. This role entails ensuring the team consistently delivers high-quality work and adheres to best practices for organizing and updating Asana boards under the PPC Only Client Management Guild.

The Advertising Auditor must demonstrate strong Amazon PPC mastery, with a focus on auditing accounts for inefficiencies, identifying opportunities for optimization, and driving continuous improvement. This role will rover across accounts to support PPC specialists (PPC Specs), providing hands-on auditing, coaching, and process improvements.

The Advertising Auditor (PPC) is accountable for their work, providing regular progress reports, actionable account feedback, and promptly escalating roadblocks to their Guild Manager. Additionally, the role involves actively assisting leadership in facilitating in-depth skills transfer, training, and coaching sessions to elevate overall team performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Account Management
    • Conduct proactive daily audits of assigned PPC accounts, ensuring adherence to MAG's standards.
    • Audit accounts for inefficiencies, identifying gaps in performance, wasted spend, and missed opportunities.
    • Rover across accounts to support PPC Specs by auditing, optimizing, and providing actionable insights.
    • Manage accounts in accordance with client milestones, focusing on:
      • Segmentation
      • Negotiations
      • Search term utilization
      • Coordination with PPC and SEO team
    • Providing recommendations to Brand Management for conversions or account health issues affecting PPC performance.
    • Identify sales trends and drop-offs daily, prescribe necessary actions, conduct audits, and provide detailed write-ups to Brand Management
  • Asana Updates
    • Post proactive updates in Asana every four hours, detailing actions taken.
    • Assign tasks back to PPC specialists promptly upon completion.
    • If reassignment is not immediate, post an action plan and estimated timeline for completion.
  • Compliance with MAG Standards
    • Ensure the use of MAG standards in daily account actions and milestones.
    • Communicate with Brand Management as needed to gain a comprehensive understanding of the client's story and goals before initiating work on the account.
  • Reporting and Communication
    • Provide daily progress reports, emphasizing proactive audit findings and actions taken.
    • Collaborate with the PPC and SEO teams, sharing insights and coordinating efforts for optimal account management.
    • Communicate effectively with Brand Management, providing a holistic overview of client needs and goals
  • Training and Coaching
    • Coach and train PPC Specs on improvements, optimization strategies, and performance enhancements.
    • Support skill development through hands-on guidance and structured feedback.
    • Lead or assist in training sessions focused on improving PPC execution and audit quality.
  • Continuous Learning
    • Identify gaps in workflows and improve processes to enhance efficiency.
    • Recommend and implement process improvements across PPC auditing and account management.
    • Help standardize auditing practices and improve operational efficiency across accounts.
  • Sales Retention Strategies
    • Implement daily actions to optimize account performance, following the outlined standards.
    • Collaborate with the team to address and resolve any issues impacting PPC performance promptly.
  • Quality Assurance
    • Conduct daily quality checks on deliverables, ensuring they align with MAG's standards and client expectations.
    • Provide detailed write-ups to Brand Management on any account health issues affecting PPC performance.
  • Problem Account Management
    • Identify and address account issues promptly, collaborating with the team for effective solutions.
    • Maintain a proactive approach to managing client needs, ensuring satisfaction and retention
  • Collaboration and Liaison
    • Liaise with colleagues at MAG daily to coordinate efforts in serving clients effectively.
    • Collaborate with the team to address and resolve issues promptly, fostering a culture of teamwork.


Requirements

  • Amazon PPC mastery experience required with a strong track record of managing and optimizing campaigns
  • Proven experience auditing accounts for inefficiencies and identifying optimization opportunities.
  • Ability to coach/train PPC Specs on improvements and best practices.
  • Experience working in a rover capacity supporting multiple PPC accounts is highly preferred
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actions.
  • Excellent communication and reporting skills.
  • Experience with Asana or similar project management tools.
  • Strong understanding of PPC structures, keyword strategies, and bid optimization.
  • Process improvement mindset with a focus on continuous optimization.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams while maintaining accountability.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in identifying issues and solutions.
