Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Adventure Travel Specialist to own
and grow our portfolio of adventure travel partners across North America, Europe, and
Australasia.
This role is responsible for designing, selling, and managing group inclusive tours for
travelers aged 30+, ensuring each itinerary blends adventure, comfort, and authentic local
experience. You will serve as the primary expert for Western adventure travel companies, driving sales
through tailored proposals, strategic relationship-building, and flawless execution.
Key Responsibilities
End-to-End Sales & Account Management: Manage the full sales cycle for inbound
inquiries from adventure travel companies in the US, Canada, UK, Australia, NZ, and
Europe. Develop and grow a portfolio of B2B accounts through proactive outreach and
relationship nurturing.
Itinerary Design & Proposal Development: Create compelling, detail-rich proposals and
itineraries that cater to the mature adventure traveler, balancing thrill with accessibility,
safety, and premium service.
Client Strategy & Advisory: Act as a trusted advisor to partners, providing market
insights, destination expertise, and creative solutions that elevate their group offerings
and drive repeat business.
Supplier Negotiation & Management: Build and maintain strong partnerships with local
adventure operators, hotels, transport providers, and guides. Negotiate competitive rates
and exclusive terms to enhance product value and margin.
Operational Oversight: Ensure seamless booking confirmation, pre-travel coordination,
and on-trip support. Handle complex changes and problem-solving with professionalism
and urgency.
Market Intelligence & Product Development: Monitor trends in adventure and mature
group travel. Provide insights and recommendations to leadership for new products,
experiences, and market opportunities.
Performance & Reporting: Track sales performance, pipeline activity, and client
satisfaction. Prepare regular reports and contribute to strategic planning and forecasting.
Who We're Looking For
Minimum 5 years of experience in travel sales, destination management, or B2B
account management, with a focus on adventure, experiential, or group travel.
Proven track record of managing international accounts, preferably in Western markets
(US, Canada, UK, Australia, NZ, Europe).
Deep knowledge of adventure travel products, destination logistics, and the needs of
mature travelers (30+).
Exceptional skills in proposal writing, itinerary design, negotiation, and client
presentation.
Strong commercial acumen with a history of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Highly organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple complex projects under
deadline.
Bachelor's degree in Tourism, Business, or a related field preferred.
Passion for adventure travel and sustainable, experience-driven tourism.
