As an Advanced Quality Planning (AQP) Engineer, you will be responsible for driving quality planning activities for new product development and product modifications. You will work closely with Product Development, Manufacturing, and Cross-Functional Teams to identify risks, implement preventive actions, and ensure flawless product launches that meet customer expectations for safety, quality, delivery, and cost

You will be part of the CMSBU – Networking Segment, collaborating with Product Design Engineers, Manufacturing Engineers, Project Managers, Quality teams, and suppliers to support new product introduction and continuous quality improvement initiativ

What You Wil
l Do
• Execute quality plans for new products and engineering changes to ensure successful product lau
nches• Identify, assess, and mitigate quality risks throughout the product development
cycle• Lead and support APQP activities, process audits, and safe launch pro
grams• Ensure measurement systems and testing methods are validated and standar
dized• Partner with manufacturing and quality teams to resolve customer and internal quality concerns using structured problem-solving methodologies
(8D)• Support supplier audits and quality improvement initiatives for new and critical supp
liers• Conduct risk assessments, reverse FMEA reviews, and compliance audits to prevent quality i
ssues• Drive continuous improvement projects and capture lessons learned to strengthen product development proc
esses• Support quality system compliance with ISO, IATF, and EH&S require
ments• Perform other quality-related projects and responsibilities as assigned by manag
ement
Who You Are (Basic Qualifica
tions)
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field pr
eferred• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Advanced Quality or quality-related functions within an automotive-standard envi
ronment• Strong communication, leadership, and team facilitation
skills• Experience with APQP, AIAG Core Tools, and IATF requi
rements• Knowledge of statistics and experience using Minitab or similar analytica
l tools• Proficiency in Microsoft Office appli
cations• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 20% as
needed

• 8+ years of experience in Advanced Quality or related quality
functions• Knowledge of Metrology and GD&T p
rinciples• Experience in testing, molding, soldering, crimping, and assembly
processes• Familiarity with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, supplier auditing, and gage/fixtu
re design• Proven track record of leading continuous improvement and quality excellence in
itiatives
