Job Description

Job Overview:

Our client is seeking a proactive and customer-focused Admissions Appointment Setter to ensure prospective students have a seamless experience before meeting with an Enrollment Advisor. In this role, you will confirm appointments, answer initial questions, qualify prospective students, and ensure each consultation is well-prepared. Your goal is to create an outstanding first impression, reduce no-shows, and help prospective students confidently take the next step in their career journey.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM EST, with a 1-hour break; Full-time, 40 work hours per week

Responsibilities:

  • Confirm appointments via phone, SMS, and email while ensuring prospective students are well-prepared prior to scheduled consultations.
  • Ask qualifying questions to understand each prospect's goals and career objectives, routing qualified leads to the appropriate Enrollment Advisor.
  • Maintain accurate, well-organized CRM records, notes, and follow-up activities.
  • Reduce no-shows through timely reminders, consistent follow-up, and proactive communication.
  • Explain the consultation process and answer general program-related questions clearly.
  • Deliver a professional, friendly, and positive customer experience throughout every interaction to generate positive feedback.
  • Meet and achieve established appointment confirmation, attendance, and lead qualification KPIs.
  • Collaborate strongly with the Enrollment Team to streamline the student onboarding journey.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in B2C or B2B sales, appointment setting, or lead qualification (appointment setting is required).
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills with a confident and professional phone presence.
  • Experience in education, admissions, student enrollment, training, career services, or EdTech (highly preferred).
  • Proven ability to build rapport, qualify prospects, handle objections, and encourage attendance for scheduled appointments.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and follow-up skills with the ability to manage a pipeline independently.
  • Experience using CRM platforms such as HubSpot or similar systems to manage leads and document interactions.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a passion for helping prospective students make informed career decisions.
  • Self-motivated, coachable, and able to work independently in a fast-paced remote environment.
  • Reliable internet connection, professional home office setup, and availability to work US business hours.
