Administrative Officer – Facilities Planning and Maintenance

Location: Makati City China Banking Corporation (Chinabank)

About the Role

We are looking for a Registered Mechanical Engineer to join our Facilities Planning and Maintenance team as an Administrative Officer. This role is responsible for ensuring the efficient operation, maintenance, and improvement of the Bank's facilities and mechanical systems. The position also supports branch construction and renovation projects, oversees preventive maintenance programs, and ensures compliance with engineering and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of building facilities, utilities, and mechanical systems
• Manage preventive and corrective maintenance activities to ensure equipment reliability and operational efficiency
• Conduct facility inspections and recommend repair, replacement, and improvement initiatives
• Review and evaluate mechanical plans, specifications, and technical proposals for branch construction and renovation projects
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and vendors to ensure timely and quality project implementation
• Monitor service contracts and evaluate contractor performance
• Ensure compliance with engineering standards, safety regulations, and government requirements
• Prepare technical reports, maintenance plans, budgets, and project updates
• Assist in the planning and execution of facilities enhancement initiatives across the Bank's branch network

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Mechanical Engineer (RME)
• At least 3-5 years of relevant experience in facilities management, building maintenance, engineering operations, construction, or project management
• Knowledge of HVAC systems, mechanical equipment, building utilities, and preventive maintenance practices
• Familiarity with engineering codes, safety regulations, and building standards
