Job Description

The Medical City Clinic is looking for Administrative Associate for SM Olongapo branch. This role serves as the initial contact point for patients thus ensuring proper service architecture is given by assisting them with general inquiries, validating information for medical care access, verifying accuracy of billing purposes, and providing quality patient experience such as medical and diagnostic services.

Key Result Areas — Duties and Responsibilities

A. Patient Care Administration

  1. Creates a caring and empathic environment that focuses on patient health and needs
  2. Assists in the performance of needed medical and diagnostic procedures

B. Operational Efficiency

  1. Greets and assists patients as soon as they arrive at the clinic
  2. Answers telephone calls, emails, and respond to inquiries professionally
  3. Schedule patients according to the doctors and clinic services and refer patients to other TMC Clinics as needed
  4. Secures Letter of Authorization, approval, endorsement for patient availment
  5. Assists cashier in issuing receipts and invoices
  6. Collects and encodes patient data needed to facilitate clinic transactions
  7. Ensures accreditation and compliance of documents, requirements with Philhealth facility

C. Health Maintenance Organization (HMO) & Other Stakeholders

  1. Ensures forms are filled out with correct and accurate information
  2. Monitors, and applies appropriate discounts to HMO, and other stakeholders
  3. Serves as an ambassador for partner HMOs and stakeholders

D. Records Management

  1. Manages proper storage of medical records
  2. Ensures accurate release of medical & diagnostic records
  3. Adheres to the Data Privacy Act in terms of confidentiality of patient records

E. Administrative Efficiency

  1. Monitors and orders forms for HMOs and companies
  2. Prepares and generate reports accordingly
  3. Performs other tasks that may be assigned from time to time

Job Specification

A. Education: Graduate of any 4-year Course

B. Experience: Preferable with at least 6 months of related work experience
