Join a thriving insurance agency as an Administrative Assistant managing essential client communications and back-office administrative workflows. In this critical role, you will work closely with the business owner to streamline daily operations, process vital policy documentation, and deliver top-tier service to policyholders. It is a great opportunity for an experienced insurance professional looking for a stable, independent role with a direct impact on business growth.

Schedule:

  • Full-time (35 hours per week), Monday to Friday, 9:30 AM – 5:30 PM CST

Responsibilities

  • Manage incoming phone calls and provide professional front-line customer service to policyholders and clients
  • Perform back-office administrative tasks including data entry, document filing, and record management
  • Support day-to-day insurance agency operations to ensure smooth workflow and service delivery
  • Assist with processing insurance-related documentation (policies, claims, updates, renewals)
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in agency systems
  • Coordinate and follow up on client inquiries to ensure timely resolution and high customer satisfaction

Requirements

  • MUST have prior experience in an insurance agency or insurance-related role (required)
  • Experience in financial services, brokerage, or underwriting support is highly preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with a professional phone manner
  • Familiarity with agency management systems and general office software (CRM experience a plus)
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision

  • Direct reporting to the business owner with day-to-day task support
