The Administrative Assistant provides comprehensive administrative, secretarial, and operational support to the Executive Chef and the Culinary Division, ensuring the efficient day-to-day functioning of the department. This role is responsible for managing correspondence, maintaining confidential records and filing systems, coordinating meetings and travel arrangements, preparing reports and documentation, monitoring attendance records, and supporting departmental planning and operational initiatives. The position plays a critical role in facilitating effective communication, maintaining organizational standards, and contributing to the successful execution of Culinary and Food & Beverage objectives while upholding the highest levels of professionalism, confidentiality, and guest service excellence.
The ideal candidate is a highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented professional with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. They possess a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a collaborative can-do approach, enabling them to work effectively within a team environment while managing multiple priorities under pressure and meeting deadlines. Candidates should preferably hold a degree in Hotel Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline, with 3–5 years of experience in an administrative or secretarial role and 1–2 years of operational exposure within a Food & Beverage or Culinary environment. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, typing, document preparation, filing systems, and basic Adobe software is essential. Fluency in spoken and written English, sound judgment, critical thinking skills, discretion in handling confidential information, and the ability to deliver exceptional service to internal and external stakeholders are key requirements for success in this role.
