WHAT this role means for you:
This is an onsite, full-time for an Ad Designer where you'll help shape how people experience our brand through thoughtful, high-impact ad design. You'll work at the intersection of creativity and data, turning insights into visuals that resonate, perform, and scale. You'll collaborate with a team that values clarity, experimentation, and design that solves real problems. Most importantly, you'll have the space to grow through expanding your craft, exploring new ideas, and building work that meaningfully contributes to the brand's mission and momentum.
You're a match if you:
- Create high-quality ad creatives (static visuals, carousels, banners, social posts, display, etc.) aligned with campaign briefs, brand identity and performance goals.
- Work collaboratively with the Growth and Brand teams to conceptualize and iterate ad visuals optimized for conversion (e.g., for platforms like Meta/Facebook, Instagram, Google Display, TikTok).
- Produce multiple creative variations and sizes (different ratios: 1:1, 4:5, 16:9, 9:16, etc.) to suit various placements.
- Iterate ad variations based on data insights, A/B test results, and performance metrics.
- Add clear hooks, strong CTAs, trust indicators, and visual hierarchies that help drive click-through and conversion.
- Perform competitor ad research: identify winning ad styles and create tested remakes or variants to scale performance.
- Maintain an organized asset library (layered source files, templates) and ensure brand consistency across all designs.
- Support campaign testing: monitor ad creatives performance (CTR, CPC, ROAS) with the marketing team and iterate visuals accordingly.
- Stay updated on platform best practices and ad-platform specifications (e.g., Meta, TikTok, Google) to ensure creatives meet technical specs and algorithm-friendly formats.
- Translate marketing strategies into clear, compelling, and conversion-focused visual concepts.
- Support funnel performance by producing creatives optimized for awareness, consideration, and conversion stages.
Profile Wishlist:
- 24+ years of experience designing ads or digital creatives, ideally in a performance marketing, startup, or agency environment.
- Strong portfolio showcasing ad designs (ideally performance / direct-response style) that demonstrate an understanding of conversion visuals.
- Experience creating static, video, and motion graphics ads for platforms like Meta, TikTok, Google, and programmatic networks.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, or equivalent.
- Ability to design for direct response: clear messaging, hierarchy, hooks, and conversion-focused visuals.
- Strong understanding of aspect ratios, ad specs, and technical requirements across major advertising platforms.
- Understanding of A/B testing, creative iteration cycles, and data-driven design improvements.
- Ability to interpret performance insights (CTR, CPM, CPC, CVR, etc.) and apply them to creative adjustments.
- Experience designing creatives for funnel stages - awareness, consideration, conversion.
