Job Description

The objective of the request is to fill the role that will be vacated by the resignation of the actuarial pricing manager. He/she will report to the Pricing Director who handles the Savings segment of the Actuarial pricing team.

He/she will be responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate pricing of new products and review of existing products planned for the calendar year. The role will also include reviewing and resolving Day 2 items scheduled for completion within the year.



JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsibilities:

  • Handle end‑to‑end pricing of new insurance products, ensuring methodologies, assumptions, and models are robust, market‑competitive, and aligned with actuarial standards
  • Collaborate with Product, Finance, Risk, Reinsurance, Distribution, and IT teams to support product design, profitability assessment, and end‑to‑end product launch
  • Review existing products to assess their continued viability and competitiveness in the market
  • Provide support for client requests and oversee the resolution of Day 2 items
  • Effectively communicate pricing results, insights, and key metrics to senior management and relevant stakeholders

Required Skills:

Actuarial Expertise: Advanced knowledge of product pricing including actuarial methodologies, assumption setting and model development Effective Collaboration: Ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams to support product design and launch processes Stakeholder Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively present complex actuarial insights to senior management and key stakeholders

Ensure completion of scheduled product launches identified in the product calendar Resolve client requests and Day 2 items within the given timeline Provide insights through rigorous data analysis to support pricing

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field
  • At least 5 years of actuarial work experience
  • Associate or near associate of the Actuarial Society of the Philippines or Society of Actuaries is preferred
  • Proficient in MS Office (including Power BI) and GGY AXIS is prefer]
