Accountable for the pricing of new products, preparation and analysis of Medical Utilization Cost (MUC) for products within the target date.
Job Description
- Gathering, validating, and analyzing the following data that can be accessed from Maxicare system sources:
- Utilization
- Masterlist
- Total Contract Value
- LOA Issuance
- Pricing of New Products
- Responsible for pricing of new products
- Provides recommendations and endorses the pricing to Superiors for validation and approval
- Communicates the results to the concerned departments
- Repricing/ Renewal Review of Existing Products
- Reviews and Analyzes the experience of Existing products
- Provides renewal recommendations and endorses the result to Superiors for validation and approval
- Communicates the results to the concerned departments
- Preparing required documents for regulatory compliance
- Reviewing, analyzing, computing and processing other requests such as:
- Special Accommodations for accounts
- Recovery accounts
- Ad Hoc, Special Projects, and other related functions that may be assigned by the Immediate Superior.
- Monitoring of Consumer Products
- Maintains and organizes pricing/quotation files and other documentations
- Handles the monitoring of assigned New and Existing Products regularly
- Strives to embody, commits to support, and deliver the quality policy, objectives and initiatives of the organization;
- Communicates, engages, directs, and supports people to contribute to the Governance and Resilience effectiveness;
- Demonstrates commitment to customers by ensuring applicable statutory and regulatory requirements are determined, understood and consistently met;
- Abides by the Governance and Resilience policies and procedures for the effective management and control of its processes; and
- Promotes and utilizes the Process Approach and Risk-based Thinking at work.
- Preferably BS Mathematics, BS Statistics, BS Actuarial Science, BS Applied Mathematics, BS Economics, BS Computer Science, BS Data Analytics, BS Artificial Intelligence, or BS Electronics and Communication Engineering
- At least 0–2 years of actuarial experience in health, life, or general insurance.
- Knowledge in Google Applications (e.g. Gmail, Sheets, Slides, Docs, Google Studio, etc)
- Knowledge in MS Excel is required
