About the Role

. Ensures IT service availability and minimises the AIA's business impact of IT service outages through the effective management.
. Contributes to the improvement of user satisfaction with IT services by ensuring that the arrangements remain aligned with business needs and priorities and fit for purpose.
. Improves the overall technical performance as measured by the technology related KPIs and SLAs (utilisation, availability, response times etc.) year on year

Roles & Responsibilities:

Technical Operations and Performance Management:

  • Lead and mentor a team of AD administrators and support engineers to ensure high performance and operational efficiency.

Active Directory Management:

  • Oversee the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of Active Directory Services and components including domain controllers, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and Certificate Authority
  • Ensure the stability, security, and performance of Active Directory across the organization.

Incident & Problem Managements:

  • Act as an escalation point for Active Directory-related issues and ensure timely resolution.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for recurring issues and implement preventive measures.

Security & Compliance:

  • Implement and enforce security best practices for Active Directory, including privileged access management, account lifecycle management, and audit policies.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and organizational policies.

Performance Monitoring and Optimization:

  • Monitor Active Directory performance, analyze trends, and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and reliability.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure and security to optimize AD configurations.

Vendor & Stakeholder Management:

  • Collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholder to evaluate, select, and implement AD-related tools and technologies.
  • Manage relationships with third-party service providers and ensure SLAs are met.

Budget & Resource Management:

  • Develop and manage AD related budget.
  • Allocate resources effectively to meet project deadline and organizational goals.

Part of the Active Directory operations team, with on-call and standby duties activated based on business criticality to implement changes, fulfil requests, and resolve incidents.

Minimum Job Requirements:

  • 4+ years of relevant experience in which at least 1 year regional exposure
  • Hands on experience in AD related technologies or an equivalent combination of qualifications and relevant experience.
  • Bachelor's degree holder of unviersity on Information Technology or related discipline
  • Extensive knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, CA and related technologies.
  • Strong understanding of identity and access management (IAM) principles, including Azure AD, LDAP, and SSO.
  • Experience with cloud-based directory services environments is a plus.
  • Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified, or equivalent is highly desirable.
  • Able to anticipate issues and take initiatives to resolve them before escalation
  • Takes ownership of tasks and delivers results reliably and consistently
  • Works effectively across teams and geographies, fostering a cooperative and inclusive environment
  • Prioritizes user experience and service quality in all technical decisions
  • Maintain composure and effectiveness under pressure or during critical incidents

  • Upholds a high ethical standards and ensures compliance with policies and regulations
