The Role
As the Activation and Engagement Manager, you will be responsible for driving cardholder activation and engagement as the central mission of the credit card portfolio. You will ensure that new cardholders are rapidly activated and consistently engaged, maximizing both customer value and portfolio growth. Additionally, the role requires deep expertise in designing, executing, and optimizing activation and usage/engagement programs, with accountability for delivering measurable results.
How you'll contribute
- Lead the bank's activation and engagement strategy for credit card customers, setting clear targets for activation, early usage, and ongoing engagement.
- Monitor market trends, customer behavior, and competitor actions to continuously refine programs that drive measurable results.
- Create and execute onboarding and engagement initiatives, ensuring cardholders are activated quickly and consistently use their cards.
- Collaborate across teams, segment customers, and track key metrics to optimize programs that drive conversion, loyalty, and longterm portfolio growth.
- Leverage advanced analyticsincluding customer segmentation, behavioral triggers, and predictive modelingto uncover opportunities that enhance activation and engagement.
- Continuously refine program components through A/B testing and realtime feedback to maximize effectiveness and longterm impact.
- Drive P&L for activation and engagement programs, ensuring efficient use of budget and resources.
- Implement company policies and procedures, ensuring full compliance with the bank's guidelines as well as all audit, risk, and regulatory requirements.
What we're looking for
- Must have 5-10 years of experience in designing and managing activation and engagement strategies that are innovative, datadriven, and aligned with business objectives.
- Has expertise in onboarding initiatives and targeted campaigns that drive cardholder activation, usage, and retention.
- With strong analytical skills with proficiency in customer segmentation, predictive modeling, and market research.
- Has financial acumen to manage P&L and ensure efficient use of budget and resources.
- Has experience collaborating with crossfunctional teams to optimize processes and deliver measurable results.
- With excellent problemsolving abilities and communication skills to articulate strategies to senior leadership.
