Accounts Receivable Specialist

Location: Cebu, Philippines
Work Arrangement: Onsite, Full-time
Shift: Monday - Friday | 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM PHT
Salary Range: Php 42,000 - Php 44,000

As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will be working closely with the client to support the business and manage the full lifecycle of revenue collection. This role is perfect for a finance professional who excels in a collaborative environment and has a high degree of technical proficiency in ERP systems.

Your Impact

  • Revenue Management: Support the timely and accurate invoicing and collection of weekly franchise revenues.
  • Core AR Processing: Manage day-to-day activities including receipting, single and bulk invoicing, direct debit batch processing, and aged debtor reporting.
  • Account Reconciliation: Maintain accurate debtor accounts through regular reconciliations and the management of payment plans.
  • Month-End Excellence: Support month-end cut-offs by providing AR information, confirming accruals, and preparing ageing reports with detailed commentary.
  • Specialized Billing: Prepare customer statements and support final settlements for store ownership transfers and ad-hoc billing, such as design and development fees.
  • System Administration: Maintain the billing system, including the setup of new franchisees and managing fee relief or percentage changes.
  • Stakeholder Liaison: Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve enquiries and support timely fee collection.
  • Compliance & Documentation: Document procedures to ensure consistency and ensure all work complies with policies while maintaining financial confidentiality.

What You Bring

  • The Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a similar Accounts Receivable role or a Bachelor's degree majoring in Finance, Accounting, or Commerce.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP (or a similar ERP system) and strong Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Accounting Knowledge: A relevant understanding of accounting principles and general office practices.
  • Communication Skills: High level of written and verbal English communication, numeracy, and literacy.
  • Attention to Detail: A high level of accuracy and organizational skills to manage complex data and multiple deadlines.
  • Interpersonal Prowess: Proactive attitude with strong interpersonal skills to contribute to a positive team environment.
