You own the end-to-end accuracy of the accounts receivable cycle for a U.S.-based client, ensuring that invoicing, lien waivers, and payment applications are executed without error. Your work follows established financial protocols and strict contract requirements to maintain steady cash flow and compliance.

This is not a general administrative role. You operate within defined billing queues, manage complex documentation like associated liens, and are trusted to resolve discrepancies directly with client stakeholders. Best suited for professionals who thrive in structured financial environments, value high-order accuracy, and prefer clear ownership over ambiguous tasks.

YOU'RE LIKELY A STRONG FIT IF YOU HAVE

• 5+ years of experience specifically in Accounts Receivable or construction-related finance
• Hands-on responsibility for generating invoices, payment applications, and managing liens/waivers
• Proficient knowledge of U.S. accounting principles and Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience operating within U.S. business hours and remote delivery cycles
• A dedicated WFH setup with stable internet and a quiet workspace for night shift operations

STRONG SIGNALS

• Prior exposure to lien management and contract-based billing
• Advanced Excel skills (Pivot tables, VLOOKUPs) for AR aging analysis

RESPONSIBILITY PILLARS

Invoicing & Contract Compliance

You own the integrity of the billing cycle, ensuring every invoice meets specific contract triggers and legal requirements.

• Generate and dispatch invoices and payment applications
• Prepare and process associated liens and waivers per contract
• Verify billing accuracy against client agreements

Collections & Aging Management

You ensure financial predictability by maintaining a clean aging report and resolving barriers to payment.

• Monitor accounts receivable aging reports daily
• Execute systematic follow-ups on outstanding invoices
• Resolve payment discrepancies and billing inquiries

Financial Reporting & Coordination

You provide the data visibility required for the client to make informed cash flow decisions.

• Prepare monthly reports on AR status and performance
• Maintain precise records of customer transactions and interactions
• Collaborate with the finance team on cash flow forecasting
