At TOA Global, we have a deep commitment to empowering individuals to excel in their enterprises, careers, and communities. Our global footprint stretches across Australia, New Zealand, North America, and the Philippines, supporting our global clients in the accounting industry.

As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will act as the primary point of contact for a diverse portfolio of North American customers, with a special focus on the nonprofit sector. This role is far more than data entry; you will be a technical consultant and bookkeeping innovator, helping clients transition to more accurate and fluid information flows. With a strong emphasis on training and mentorship, you will be empowered to master cutting-edge fintech tools while supporting the vital missions of our nonprofit partners.

Your Impact

  • Fintech Workflow Management: Lead the daily accounts payable cycle using Bill.com. You will manage client inboxes, accurately post bills for payment, and ensure the seamless flow of financial data from intake to approval.

  • Technical Systems Integration: Take ownership of software synchronization. You will identify and resolve technical synch errors between Bill.com and major accounting platforms like QuickBooks Online or Xero, ensuring data integrity across the client's ecosystem.

  • Client Advisory & Training: Act as a subject matter expert by training clients on best practices for Bill.com. You will proactively suggest process improvements to drive efficiency and modernize their bookkeeping methods.

  • Audit & Compliance Readiness: Support the annual audit process by providing precise documentation and resolving complex transaction queries. Every January, you will lead the 1099 filing process for your assigned clients using Track1099.com.

  • Responsive Client Service: Maintain high levels of accountability by responding to customer inquiries promptly and accurately. You will build strong relationships across a cross-section of clients, presenting complex financial information in an understandable format.

  • Collaborative Support: Work closely with a great group of colleagues, providing coverage and shared expertise to ensure that company goals and client service levels are consistently met.

What You Bring

  • The Experience: Solid experience in Accounts Payable and a proven track record of using Bill.com. Familiarity with QuickBooks Online or Xero is highly preferred.

  • Technical Proficiency: Strong expertise in the Microsoft Office Suite and a high degree of comfort navigating cloud-based accounting software.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written English skills. You must be able to present detailed information clearly and train others on technical workflows.

  • Operational Excellence: A conscientious and mature professional with a strong understanding of deadlines. Your attention to detail ensures that vendor payments and tax filings are executed without error.

  • Interpersonal Strength: Demonstrated ability to work effectively with a diverse range of clients, particularly within the nonprofit or professional services industries.

  • The Mindset: A self-motivated individual who thrives on problem-solving and process innovation. You are reachable, accountable, and eager to grow within a mentored environment.
