We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to support our Procure-to-Pay (P2P) operations. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments while maintaining compliance with company policies and financial controls.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner
- Perform invoice validation, matching (2-way/3-way), and posting in the system
- Handle vendor inquiries and resolve discrepancies or payment issues
- Prepare and process payment runs (e.g., checks, wire transfers, ACH)
- Maintain and reconcile accounts payable ledgers
- Support month-end closing activities, including accruals and reporting
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies (SOX, if applicable)
- Collaborate with Procurement, Finance, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth P2P operations
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field
- At least 2–5 years of experience in Accounts Payable or P2P operations
- Experience in a shared services or multinational company is an advantage
- Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, PeopleSoft)
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
