Your Role
As an
Accounts Payable Specialist, you will:
- Oversee and execute regional accounts payable activities while maintaining accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare comprehensive vendor account reconciliations, investigate discrepancies, and handle escalations.
- Manage the purchase requisition (PR) and purchase order (PO) life cycle, including issuing required purchase documentation.
- Resolve disputed invoices by collaborating with key vendors and internal stakeholders during strategic meetings.
- Standardize and automate financial processes to improve efficiency, ensure compliance, and align with regional guidelines.
What You Need
Non-negotiables
- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or any Accounting-related course
- 1 to 3 years of experience in procurement and accounts payable handling multiple countries
- Strong analytical skills and deep financial knowledge
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships
Preferred Skills/expertise
- Proficiency in additional regional or foreign languages is a major plus
- Hands-on experience with regional guidelines, audit compliance, and financial reporting
- Experience in process improvement, standardization, and workflow automation
- Familiarity with enterprise ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite)
- Proven background in vendor dispute resolution and complex reconciliation handling
