ACCOUNTS PAYABLE SPECIALIST

This role will play a key part in managing the company's accounts payable operations by ensuring vendor invoices are processed accurately and on time. The Accounts Payable Specialist will collaborate with internal teams and vendors to resolve payment-related concerns, maintain strong vendor relationships, and support the continuous improvement of accounts payable processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process and manage vendor invoices to meet daily metrics goals, ensuring accurate coding and approvals
• Prepare and process electronic virtual card payments, as requested
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure proper handling of vendor-related inquiries and issues
• Establish and maintain relationships with key vendors, as needed
• Verify and reconcile vendor statements, resolving any discrepancies in a timely manner
• Manage incoming vendor communications to resolve invoice discrepancies and payment related issues
• Participate in the implementation and improvement of accounts payable processes and systems

What we are looking for:

To be successful in this role, you must have...

• High school degree/GED, two-year college degree would be a plus
• 1-5 years of relevant experience, services sector experience preferred
• High volume AP processing experience
• High attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communications skills
• Experience with QuickBooks and Salesforce a plus
