Job Description

Job Summary

The Accounting Associate 1 is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices, expense reimbursements, and disbursements. The role ensures compliance with internal controls, supports financial record integrity, and maintains strong vendor relationships.


Screening Criteri

a• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

.• Minimum of two (2) years AP or general accounting experience

.• Experience in ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, Sage Intacct, or similar)

.• Experience with automated AP and payment platforms (ACH, wire, etc.)

.• Experience in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables)

.• Must have stable employment history

ion• Receive, review, and process vendor invoices with proper coding and 3-way matching (PO, receipt, invoic

e).• Process employee expense reimbursements while ensuring compliance with company poli

cy.• Prepare and execute weekly payment runs including ACH, wire transfers, and virtual card paymen

ts.• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies with internal and external stakeholde

rs.• Maintain vendor master data including W-9, banking details, and tax ID verificati

on.• Manage AP inbox and vendor portal inquiries in a timely and professional mann

er.• Support month-end and year-end close activities including accruals, reconciliations, and variance analys

is.• Prepare and file 1099 tax forms and related documentati

on.• Support internal and external audits with complete documentati

on.• Assist in AP automation improvements and process optimization initiativ

es.• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce manual process
